FUNDRAISING BUSINESS PLAN
Summary
Tribe & Tongue is a collective of worship leaders, songwriters, and musicians who are creating worship music to engage, equip, and empower the Church to worship in Spirit and in Truth. We started our journey together as friends and classmates at Concordia University Irvine, and now we serve various Lutheran churches around the country.
During the height of the pandemic in 2020, we worked together virtually to record & produce a cover of Hillsong’s “Another In The Fire.” This project sparked a fire in us, and we really felt that God was calling us to continue using our gifts as a team for the greater church.
In the fall of 2021, we gathered a core leadership team of 5 songwriters, and started gathering on zoom to write worship songs together. Throughout this process of writing and visioning, we have received valuable guidance and coaching from Kip Fox & Jon Jordening. Over the course of five months we wrote 12 full songs as a team. Our next step is to record a 5 song album and release it along with free music materials for worship leaders to use in their churches. Our mission is that our music would engage, equip, and empower the church! We want to engage followers of Jesus in worship through spirit-led practices & scripturally based lyrics. We want to equip leaders with music resources for their church. And we want to empower diverse voices in our music.
The name Tribe & Tongue comes comes from Revelation 7:9-11 - "I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and tongue, standing before the throne and before the Lamb...they fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God.”
This is truly what is at the core of Tribe & Tongue. God has called each and every one of us to be on a mission to spread His good news. We want to see a glimpse of heaven on earth: people of every nation, age, tribe, and tongue worshiping God. We want our music to point people to Jesus, that they would experience the truth of His word in such a powerful way that it would leave them with nothing else to do other than respond in utter praise & worship.

Our Mission
Our Vision
Tribe & Tongue is creating worship music to engage, equip, and empower the Church to worship in Spirit and in Truth.
To unite people from all generations and cultures to know, love, and worship Jesus through music.
Our Plan for 2022
1. Release a 5 song album in June of 2022 of original worship songs.
2. Capture LIVE music video content of that album
3. Continue to write over zoom and in person for writing retreats
4. Make sheet music & multi tracks available for churches to use
5. Release more singles & albums of our original worship songs
6. & SO MUCH MORE!
Our hope is that God would use these songs He has given us to point people to Him, to equip his church, and grow his kingdom. The next step is to raise funds to help us release, market, and get these songs into the hands of the church.
